It is the best boat we have had and is such a perfect fit over in Fiji, such an eye grabber that can handle all types of weather which can change in a moment. We use it for day cruising, sight-seeing, island hoping, and game fishing and it fits every purpose!

I am very happy with the boat – easy to tow, launch, retrieve and handle Even my wife can winch it on the trailer in adverse conditions – It is a pleasure to own at our stage of life.

Amazing big little boat, with great capabilities. Taken it 20km offshore with 100% confidence. Remains comfortable during bar crossings and coming home through chop. Most importantly it’s a fish magnet. My biggest problem is not having enough time to use.

We bought our FC595 in early November and Jason form Fish City Hamilton kindly delivered it to us in Tairua.  Most weekends and nearly every day over the summer break has seen someone in our family out in the boat. Whether its going ‘out wide’ past the Alderman Islands, chasing Kingi’s or tuna, or up the coast to Boat Harbour for family picnics, we couldn’t imagine another summer without it.

We’ve enjoyed it so much we’ve already clocked up our second service at 100 hours within the first three months! The guys at Fish City have been easy to deal with and very professional.

I currently own an FC 430 tiller steer boat with a 40hp outboard with trim, tilt and electric start. I have owned a number of boats and wanted one that I could fish harbours, inshore and on the lakes in Rotorua. The boat has exceeded my expectations on all levels. It has so much room to move around in and I believe it has the largest fishing space of any boat of that size. I have also fitted a Minnkota and found this expands the versatility of fishing in all areas. All in all, I cannot fault it and are very happy.

It is coming up six years since my mate Gareth and I purchased our FC 430 Tiller Steer. The FC Boat range had only been released a year or so earlier and it took a bit of convincing from Gareth to splash out on a new boat package. In fact, we even had a few good mates telling us we would be better off spending our money on a second-hand boat that had a cabin and a steering wheel. Thankfully though we continued through with our purchase with the good help from Fish City Hamilton. Growing up in Thames I had fished the firth of Thames and Coromandel a lot so those first few years a lot of our efforts were concentrated on the Coromandel. The FC 430 is easy enough for one person to launch and fish from through to being able to accommodate two to three anglers comfortably. The FC 430 is one versatile, tough little hombre and we wouldn’t swap it for anything, well maybe only another FC Boat!!
